Some people do medical transcription and medical billing work from home. Then, there's also the possibility of selling things by using eBay.

Do you have any particular skills that you could use to work from home? Are you handy at sewing, typing, wood working, making crafts, painting, drawing, composing documents like cover letters and resumes, designing business cards, refinishing furniture, caning chairs, knowledgeable about the area where you live so that maybe you could be a consultant to a Realtor or relocation service for people that might be new to your area? Just a few ideas... I'm sure that we could come up with others depending on what your present skills might be.

I am entirely self-employed and a lot of time the work that I do for people is done in my home. Also, most of the marketing that I do for my businesses is done from my home via the Internet.

It can be frustrating when you first start looking for online work. The scams far out weigh the legitimate opportunities out there. One thing to remember is to never pay to get a job.

A good place to start looking for online work is WorkathomeDesk.com - Authentic info on work at home opportunities & online money making tips ! which is a free site with an excellent directory of legitimate companies that hire home workers. Depending on your skills or experience, you should be able to find several good leads there. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I got my degree in medical billing and coding for the basis of doing it at home and cannot find work in that field. If you know of anything where I can look into that please say so.

Yes I know some that is for work at home that hires all the time go to parameds.com and email your resume they are looking for Retrival Specialist from home this does not require any special training so anyone dig in they will train you nice work at home position. Its along the lines of claims but they show you how to retrieve them from the places they need them retrieved from:) This will be along the lines of a part time job you will need additional income outside of this.. I would also do something with MTjobs.com they hire work at home for transcription not really coding but they have some supervisor and editor positions too for work at home you can try but MT won't be easy to get on with. Also for actual coding I only know one try Untitled they have some coder and other work at home spots I think you will find good! So it will depend on how much income you need but I would try them ALL never put your eggs in one basket with work at home spots so many applicants out there!

Though this doesn't make a lot of money, one legitimate work-from-home opportunity is the telephone work that is done by charitable institutions to schedule pick-ups of donations from residences. In my area, the Salvation Army, Value Village and Purple Heart are firms that do this kind of work.

My wife did this for awhile-it costs no money up front, you go to a class, and they send you lists of numbers in certain areas to call to tell people that a truck will be in their neighborhood on a certain date and would they like to make a donation. There are probably agencies like this in your area, if so, give them a call. You work from home and there is a lot of flexibility in the hours. My wife was actually doing this for more than one agency at a time for awhile and really liked it.
