    Zero Point Energy
What is the largest amount of energy that has been extracted so far directly from the vaccuum of space in ZPE experiments? For more info see: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...o+Point+Energy

    Zero Point Energy
    ZERO.
The idea of extracting zero point energy is total junk science, along the lines of perpetual motion machines and the like.

    Zero Point Energy
Zero Point Energy is real energy, so why are all attempts to tap it "junk science"? There are many many references you can look up. Here is a fairly readable review of the evidence:

Below are some respectable web sites (NASA, harvard, etc.) with more information.

    1. The Casmier Effect.

    2. Lamb Shift

"Another historically valid test in the verification of ZPE has been what's been called the "Lamb shift." Measured by Dr. Willis Lamb in the 1940's, it actually showed the effect of zero point fluctuations on atomic levels."

A method for extracting Zero Point Energy is patented technology. The US patent office does not award junk science patents to the best of my knowledge.

"History was made on 12-31-96 when for the first time ever, ZPE was the subject of a U. S. patent (#5,590,031). Dr. Frank Mead, from Edwards AFB, has designed receivers to be spherical collectors of zero point radiation with hemisphere reflectors of beat frequencies."
