Re-seating a toilet, what to charge?
I need to re-seat a wobbly toilet for a friend. The bolts are stripped and it just needs a new wax ring and new bolts. What's a fair price to charge?

For a friend.. Have friend disinfect toilet using 10 percent bleach solution;)

Then install toilet. Did you have to pickup wax gasket/bolts, etc.. How hard was the installation? See... hard too say. Just tell your friend they owe you the next male child born into their family :)

Seriously, hard to say what is fair to charge... depends on how hard the job is... do bolts come out easy.. did you need to fix flange, etc. (by the way.. wobbly toilet can be broken flange, too.. so be aware of that)... so hard to say.

I would tell them they owe me a nice luch somewhere. Sorry.. wish I had better naswer
