    Chocoholic depressive
I really need help, I know people joke around saying they have a chocolate addiction, but I REALLY do!
Whenever I'm down, lonely or upset, I turn straight to food, I comfort eat. I spend most my time feeling like this, and the more I eat the more depressiver I get.
I turn to chocolate the most, I can eat 1kg of roses or miniature heroes etc in half a day, I just eat and eat and eat.
I'm not obese, but if I don't stop soon I will be. I put on weight easily, and since I split with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago I have piled on nearly 2 stone from binge eating.
I'm desperate for help now, once I hit 11stone it usually is a big enough insentive for me to loose weight, but not this time, I've gone up to 11 and a half stone. I am 5 ft 7 so its not classed as obese. Its I'm a person who has no self confidence yet when I loose a few pounds I feel so much better in myself, and when I pile them on I'm down but because I'm down I carry on eating.
I've got a wedding in 4 weeks and I really want to be in a size 12 dress but at current I'm back in my 14 clothes (uk sizes)
Nothing at all will make me stop, I have the biggest appetite ever and I could honestly eat all day everyday.
I really need advice on how I can cut down or get in the frame of mind to want to, as its getting me so down and I've put on weight, and feel so uncomfortable, plus wasting so much money on chocolate, I've never ever had the strongest will power, as I am addicted to chocolate, but this time I ACTUALLY can't stop and nothing at all, whether it be feeling down, feel fat, noticeable weight gain, the wedding etc is enough to make me stop my disgusting habit!
    Really sad about it!

    Explaining food cravings

There are healthy comfort foods some of them even curb cravings.
    Tater skins,

    Bananas

    Smoothies/yogurt

    Protein

    1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

If you still want chocolate maybe try drinking a mug of Hershey's (not instant) hot cocoa with a dash of cinnamon.

Difference between manic depressive and bipolar? [ 5 Answers ]

My psychologist told me that I am either bipolar or manic depressive. I only visited with her once and have to go for more evaluations. Can someone explain the difference between the two? I feel weird calling her to just ask her that question. Thank you.
