Before I moved to a diff state about 2 yrs ago, I was really good friends with my neighbors and I've always thought of the 2nd oldest son like a brother. I didn't hear from them until a few months ago and then over cristmas break I went back to NY to visit and I saw them again but then his little sis who is 12 says he likes me but she's said that for a long time- even before I moved (and so did his older brother) and I never thought about it but then when I saw him again and she said it in front of him and he blushed but I didn't realize until after I said he is just my friend (and he looked kind of sad afterwards) but later I was thinking and it fits that maybe he does like me... we used to talk to or visit each other like everyday and are so close and would watch movies together and he would hold doors open and say sweet stuff but I I figured it was all a big joke and used to laugh at him and say stuff like "oh, what a gentleman" but now I realized he probabaly did like me and I might like him too... I don't want to lose him as a friend if I go out with him either. Of course I'm back across the country again so its not that easy to find out 4 sure. Also every time I try to call, his sis says he's not there or when I do talk to him, its awkward like he's mad at me now... I want to tell him that I like him too but then what? I can't move back because of school and my mom does want to so I don't see the point in asking him but it would be so perfect to go out with him... :confused: what do I do? :confused:

This may seem strange, but long distance relationships can sometimes work really well, when you talk to him, you might want to bring up old memories of really fun times you guys had together, and tell him you miss those times. He will proberly say he misses them too, then ask him if he really does like you. If he says yes, the next part is up to you, do you want a long distance relationship? Or do you want to stay friends?

The question might be, how often can you see him. I know from my brother, he had a distant relationship, him and he's girlfriend saw each other 4 times a year at the max. They didn't break up for a full 2 years, and now, they just moved in together.

Just ask him if he used to like you, if yes, ask if he still does... might seem awkward, but it's the only way to find out :)
