Do you still need help? If so, grab a phillips and flat blade screwdriver, a 1/4 inch nut driver, small hammer, and a 3/8 drive ratchet extension and let me know when you're ready.

Can you find a model number on your washer? There are 2 significant designs out there, and your condition makes sense for one of them but not at all for the second.

I usually don't go to Omaha, unless you bought the appliance from us and no one locally can handle it. The out of town charges are 1.25 per mile outside the normal 10 mi. radius around Lincoln (both ways). What kind of problem are you having? Maybe I can help here.

My 2 year old Whirlpool washer leaves an oil ring in the washer tub and on the agitator. I know it's the machine leaving the oil because I cleaned the oil ring off after each of several loads of clothes and the oil ring always returned. What is my machines problem if anyone out there knows?
