    Garage door problems
My garage door is activated by the keyless entry button for my car and also the neighbors key works my door. I think everyone may open it. What's up?

It seems you have the same "code" as your neighbor.

Inside the remote and the opener are toggle switches. Change one or two of them in both the remote and the opener (so that they are the same) and your problem should be solved.

Change codes like RickJ mentiones. If it is a learning type, I would erase all codes, then only enter your own remotes. Maybe neighbors was learned to provide access from previous owners.

Good advice. One thought before you start changing the codes. Is your sending unit built into the car or visor? If so, be sure you have an original hand held remote and instructions for reprogramming the car. When I got a new car I spent days looking for the old remote before I could get the new built in to operate.
