    Changing My Sons Name?
How would I and my wife change her sons name if he was born in the Philippines? He will be getting his Green card soon, so does that make us able to change his name here? Or would we still have to get this done in the philippines? we are a bit confused on how we should do this.. please reply

    Thank You JrMich

I believe that if the child is adopted you can get a name change done by the courts in the country you preside in. If you used an agency to adopt your child they might be your best resource before seeking council because they may have delt with it before.
