St Richard de Nixon exemplifies many politicians, but perhaps you know of more representative ones, such as St Thomnas de Lay, or St George de Busche, etc. :)

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. I was just responding to the previous post, actually, which was also a joke.

It was a serious answer. Politicians are notoriously dishonest and untruthful.

Don't see why you apologize, there is no offense here. Thin skins on a fourm of this type is ridiculous and immature.

Then you will not be offended if I point out that 'skins' being plural attracts "are' not 'it'.

To great a generality
Morganite's statement, "It was a serious answer. Politicians are notoriously dishonest and untruthful" is a vast generality and there for not correct.
In my opinion some politicians are dishonest, some are not.
Also some are corrupt and some are not. Thanks God we do have some who are honest, incorruptible, and faithful to serving the public as best as they know how.
The problem is in being able to sort the sheep from the carnivores because many of the carnivores wear sheep's clothing.

Oops I said welcome to you arcura, originally, but I guess you're not new haha. Just I have never talked to you before! Anyway hi!
Well actually, to clarify, I was thanking Morganite and Irulan for saying it was okay for me to respond to the joke made in this thread. I felt really badly that I responded to it and had offended ROLCAM, and I stayed off the Religion forum for a couple of weeks. But yeah I agree it is a generality... although here in Canada lately I feel like we can't trust any of them!
