    Tips For Eliminating Spam eMails
I have made the mistake of entering my information at many web sites

They have passed my email address on to many others -- WOW

I am looking for suggestions for dealing with flood of eMails

I do not want to close my email address -- last resort

    1. I like copy and paste (copy Sender and Paste in Search Mail Box) delete many

    2. Go to a spam mail, copy your email address, press end key to take you to
Bottom of email, select unsubscribe and paste your email in unsubscribe...
The email address in copy can be used to unsubscribe from many sites

    3. Filtering works -- use words like credit , casino, degree, loan -- to send email
To trash -- most emails of this type are a waste of time

Hope there are many other ideas -- for cutting down the forrest of emails

Thanks for the ideas. I have my filters set fairly high and not much gets through anymore. It is amazing how when you visit one site you suddenly get 100 emails from everyone and their dog trying to sell you something.

For my MSN I only accept email from those on my contact list. On Yahoo is where the spam shows up and it baffles me because I have the same settings there as on MSN. But I never open them up - I just click "spam" and let it go. I used to try to unsubscribe to those spam emails but it seemed to make matters worse - since my actions confirmed my address did exist.
