    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    As to an answer, I'm doubt if he went to school. I don't believe ancient Rome had schools as we know them today. Most noble and wealthy Romans were educated at home by tutors. Those that couldn't afford tutors usually couldn't read and write.

    As Scott stated, his education was under tutorage. One of his teachers was Marcus Antonius Gnipho (while in Rome). In 75 BC, Caesar left Rome to study in Rhodes under the great teacher Apollonius Molon.
