An ultrasound may identify the gender of the child ( a level 2 may be necessary as that typically provides a more detailed view of things, though your doctor probably won't order one unless it's medically necessary since it's more costly.) Also a genetic analysis can determine the baby's gender. Likewise, you can't have that ordered without a compelling medical reason since it is costly and risky. Other than that, it's really just guesswork. Good luck and best wishes.

How many months pregnant are you, have you discussed this with the doctor.

Your doctor will do an ultrasound when you are about 20 weeks, at that time you can ask/him her the gender of your baby.
