Geothermal Heating & Cooling System costs
I am looking for an approximate cost to install a 200 ton Geothermal closed loop heating & cooling system for a commercial manufacturing building. The building has approximately 100,000 S/F (30,000 office space and 70,000 manufacturing / warehouse area). Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

One million dollars should do it depending upon accessories. If it is a union job make that 1.5 million dollars.

Wow 200 ton. I assume this will be for than 1 unit since I only do light commercial I've never seen equipment that big. You will also need 300-400 feet of buried tubing per ton based on what part of the country you live in. I wouldn't blink an eye if quotes came in around 600,000 to 800,000 dollars.

The large screw type chillers come in that size and bigger. Centrifugals are not as efficient.
