Ordered paint online, company is NOT COOPERATING!
I bought some art supplies online as a gift for my boyfriend on 12/17 from Montana Colors. Montana charged my debit card for $42.00 ($29.00 plus $13 shipping) immediately. Well, when I went to look at the status of my order on 12/20 to see if maybe it would make it by Christmas, I saw that they had changed my order and taken an $8.00 marker off (they did refund the $8.00 to my bank account). That happened to be the most important thing on the order, the rest ware just extras. Plus I was still paying $13 for shipping on what was now a $20.00 order. Its not even worth getting any more. So then I was pissed because 1). They took something off the order without giving me the chance to replace it or even telling me and 2). The order is listed as “billed” online. Not boxed, not processing, nothing. And today, 12/17, it is still listed as "billed". In 10 days, they have managed to do NOTHING with my order but bill me. I knew it would be a fat chance that I would get it by Christmas, but I feel that it is getting a little ridiculous by now. I sent them an email asking them to cancel my order on 12/24. Still no response. There is no contact information on the site whatsoever. Just an email address. I googled them forever and I can not get any info on them. I know people who used to distribute for the company (it's Spanish paint with US distributors). I know they are legit and will eventually send the stuff, but I feel that at this point, I have grounds to cancel the order, especially since it is not even what I originally ordered. What can I do? Do they even have to refund my money?

I hate how when you order something online, they want their money right away, but will take their sweet old time when all they need to do is grab it and stick it in a box. That's such a sucky way to do business.

As I understand it, they must fulfill your order within 30 days or refund your money. It looks as though they realized they cannot fill the $8 item within the time frame and removed it from your order as well as the charge.

You can call your credit card company and request a chargeback. Just dial the customer service number on the back of your card.
