    Music CD copyright
    Hi,

I have a copyrighted music CD and an MP3 player. Is it legal if I convert all songs on the CD with Windows MediaPlayer to MP3 and play it on my MP3 player?

I am not going to share the MP3 files with anyone else.

Well from what I have herd it actually is illegal to do that. However I have always wondered why Microsoft would make it so easy to preform an illegal operation.

I would say just do it, no one is going to arrest you because of this.
