    14 and no period yet
    My 14yr old daughter is getting worried that she hasn't started her period yet is it a reason to worry ?

    No reason to worry. I was 14, my sister was 15 and her friend was 18 when we started having periods. What we all had in common was very little body fat. Starting later usually means that you will be taller than those who started at 8-12 years.

    My daughter was 16 before she had hers. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

    Thank you that will make her feel much better.But as for the tall part she is very little only about the size of a 10/11 yr old.But we can't have everything can we?

    We don't know why, but many girls do not start their period until they weigh 100 pounds. So, do keep that in mind.

    Really? I got my first period when I was 13 & I weigh 62lbs! I'm healthy though. :) I'm 14 now & I weigh 66lbs. I'm tiny & I look like an 11 year old!
