    math fractions with a variable
    I don't need answer but just how to solve it:

    3/4n = -8 (three fourths times n equals negative eight):confused:

    very simple! First multiply both sides by 4n so you get
    3 = -32n

    Then simply solve for n by dividing both sides by -32

    In general for these types of problems all you have to do is isolate for the variable your trying to solve and you got the answer! Simple as that
