    How take off write-protection?
I bought an Mp3 player and I stick it in my USB port and when I try to add or delete songs but it says that the disk is write-protected. How do I remove that write-protection so I can add and delete songs on my Mp3 player?

Sometimes the MP3 player manufacturers add an extra bit of security by not allowing adding files directly on the storage via plug and play.

In that case they provide a software to do this function. Not sure what MP3 player you have, but try using the software CD, if once came with the player.

    Good luck !
