    My son's mother's decision
My ex-girlfriend and I are not together but we recently have had a son. Our situation gets complicated with the intrusion of her parents, who were against this baby from the beginning. I understand that she has a lot of right to the unborn child, but is it illegal for her not to call me when they induced my son. They didn't even call me to let me know that he was born. I found out through the internet from friends. So did I have a legal right to know?

It's not illegal for them not telling you. It was rude of them, but make sure you document that. If you want to be in the child's life you need to make sure you start fighting for your rights now.

You basically have no legal rights unless the mother gives them to you OR you go to Court to get them -
