    Double Jepardy/Statute of limitation
A person goes to court over and over for something that he was arrested for in April 2003, they return to court several times but the prosecution is not ready. Finally, the judge throws out the case and is irate with the prosecution, could the matter be brought up again?

A summons was then issued to come to court for the same matter? Nov 2007 more than 4 years from the original incident,
    Is there a good defense?

    Helo Carib:

I'm sure there IS a good defense, but you haven't told us enough to make that determination.

The statute of limitations depends on the state you live in, the crime you were accused of, and about 100 other things.
