    Quit Claim Deed; Financial Responsibility
If I sign a Quit Claim deed, am I still held responsible for the financial portions of a mortgage? I just want my name removed from the responsibility portion; my former wife cannot obtain refinancing and is currently unable to sell the home.

No signing a quick claim deed has nothing to do with the mortgage, only the ownership of the property. Your former wife will have to get a new mortgage to get your name off the loan.

However,...
