    My computer freezes
    Hi:

    When I use Internet Explorer to get on the web I cannot use Yahoo as my home page. My computer freezes up. When I use Google as my home page IE, I can get on the web but I can't access yahoo.com.

    Hi,
    Just try to ping the Yahoo wbsite, check what happen`s!! Or else try to open up the Yahoo website through the My Computer, It should work. Just check and if it is working send a relpy or rate the answer

    Have you tried to clear up viruses on your computer? Mine would do that sometimes... certain things like Yahoo wouldn't work but other things would... I use spyware doctor to get rid of them... you may want to try it. It helped mine anyway,

    1. Download and run Firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through Firefox

    This should stop 50% of the spyware and popups attacking your computer

    2. Run the vundo and combo fix

    3. Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot
    Security News from the net: Spybot search and destroy spyware and popups

    And superantispyware
    Security News from the net: SUPERAntiSpyware Home Edition (free version)
    To get rid of the nasties

    4. Run a free online virus scan to be sure you computer is virus and spyware free.

    5. Get the clean up tools to clean up the spyware from your temp folder (the place they are stored when downloaded by internet explorer)
