    Which wireless router is the best to buy, to hook computer on the net to a laptop?

    Division of Cicso routers is now Linksys.

    Suggest a Wireless-G broadband router WRT54G running at 2.4 GHz. Usually 4 ports unless you need more wired devices you don't have to buy with more ports. Support wired and WIFI connections.

    I've never had problems with them.

    Linksys was purchased by Cisco several years ago. They were always a top brand and their tech support is great.

    But any 802.1n router will be fine.
