Odd behavior
Ok all of a sudden my dog is super protective over me. She is only 8 or 9 months but had never been so clingy or prtective. She usually gets along well with other animals and she loves out other dog and out cat but this weekend we had a puppy play date with my friends dogs like normal and she would not leave my side and every time the my friends dogs came around me she would growl and try to attack which ended up in a fight between her and my friends dog, we broke it up and then they were fine but she is not a tough dog although she thinks she is alpha when it comes to other dogs, shehas never been like this before and it is scaring me. I don't know what to do. She can not hold her own when she gets into a fight but she still tries to act like she is top dog and she won't let any other dog around me. And she won't leave my side what's up

Another thing my other dog had started to eat my wall and she can do this through her crate I had to move the crate into the middle of the room so she couldn't eat the wall and it isn't corners she eats, it's the middle of the wall and she puts big holes into it I've tried all those sprays that are supposed to make animals leave it alone and yet she still eats the wall, she has plenty of toys and I keep the radio on what do I do

If she isn't spayed, she could be coming into season. For maybe a month ahead of time you can expect all sorts of behavior changes. If it isn't too late, get her spayed before it is too late.
Except for the wall chewing, you being pregnant could explain it. I won't speculate on how they know, but they know, and the clingy and protective behavior is very common.
She may be more quiet in the crate if you give her a Kong filled with peanut butter.

They are both fixed, and about being pregnant I'm not sure. Ill take a test tonight to see. We have tried the peanut butter thing but they get it out within 30 minutes and we continue to have a problem with chewing

I've been working on teaching Trinkett, my greyhound, to retrieve. It's being interesting... she's not the most eager dog (for example, she prefers to work lying down!), but we're making progress. I'm rewarding her with peanut butter, which is also partly why it's going slower. Takes her a while...

My one and half year old boxer lab mix just started to sniff his own butt and sniffing the ground where he was sitting. Is there something wrong with him or is this normal behavior.

I have just recently moved into a new apartment and my cat is finally settled realizing this is her home but when I pour her food she scratches on the floor and wall around her dish like they do in the litter box before she eats. Is there any specific reason for this??

I have a 2 year old Terrier lab mix... or mutt how ever you look at it. He has developed on behaviors. We often times go to socialize at a friends house who has a dog. They play and have a great time. He never spends the night there or anything. He is very happy while he there. But for the...
