    Brown spotting
    I have brown spotting and I had my period last week.. what may this be caused from?

    Ovulation
    You may be ovulating. Sometimes ovulation is accompanied by spotting.

    are you on hormonal contreception (sorry can't spell)? Because that can sometimes cause random spotting (called breakthrough bleeding)..
