What can I use for a key tap?
I need something to tap a key on my keyboard every now and then. Any ideas what I can use? I don't want a program, I want something that I can set up on my desk to do it. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I'm confused about what you want to do. Do you just want something to hit a random key on the keyboard every five minutes?

Can you be a bit more specific?

Yes that is what I want... I want to hit a certain key every two minuteswithout me having to sit at my desk and do it myself.

Does this need to be something actually hitting the keyboard? If so, I have no idea what you could use. :'(

Would it work if the computer just thought a key was pressed even though it actually wasn't?

What you do see is get a heavy duty alarm clock and make it run 1/2 speed. Then you glue a finger onto the second hand and set the clock over near your keyboard so the finger hits the key! ;D
