    Quad Injury Recovery Period
I tore my left quad hurdling about 5 months ago, but I never visited a medical professional, just sretched and rested for a while. The pain was pretty much gone for 3 months or so, but it's coming back again. I've started running every day, and I'm feeling searing pain in my quad. I'm having a really rough time just making it through P.E. class, even though the initial injury was 5 months ago. Is it normal that I'm still experiencing pain? If so, what can do besides stretching so that I don't have to miss P.E.

Maybe you take an anti-inflammatory and see if this helps (such as Tylenol or Advil) and this may help with the overall pain issue but as far as the injury goes... you really should see a sports injury specialist just to see if this problem is correctable or otherwise you could living with this pain for a longer time if it's not dealt with.
