    Merchandise Purchases Budget!
    I need to prepare a merchandise purchases budget (in units) for each of the months of March, April and May. The given data is the following:

    *UNITS INVENTORY FOR FEBRUARY 2008:
    Footwear: 20,000
    Sports Equipment: 80,000
    Apparel: 50,000

    *DESIRED ENDING INVENTORY AS PERCENTAGE OF EXPECTED SALES
    FOR FOLLOWING MONTH: 30%

    *BUDGETED SALES IN UNITS:
    Footwear: March 15,000 April 25,000 May 32000 June 35000
    Sports Equ March 70,000 April 90,000 May 95,000 June 90,000
    Apparel: March 40,000 April 38,000 May 37,000 June 25,000

    *MARCH BUDGETED PURCHASES:
    Footwear: 2,500
    Sports Equip.: 17,000
    Apparel: 1,400

I am the administrator for my brother's estate. This will be an insolvent estate. He has a vehicle that ~$8500 is owed to the lender. I would like to purchase this vehicle for myself. How do I do this so that it will not become property of the estate when it is paid for? Thanks!
