In our bathoom, we are not getting hot water from the shower. In fact its practically cold water. Why is this happening.. and what do we do to repair? We need to fix this ASAP... Thank you...

    No hot water
    Hi,
My first reaction is that your hot water on-off faucet to the shower might be clogged up. You can turn off your water, or shut off the hot water, if you have an on-off valve for the hot water supply at your water heater.
Then, remove the cover on the hot water faucet in the shower, and remove the inside of the faucet. It could be clogged and need cleaning out.
I am sure others will be along and post some other ideas for you to check out.

    Hey Prati,

Fred gave you sound advice about opening up your shower valve and checking for crud. If you need instructions on how to do this click on back with the brand name , the type, (one handle or two knobs) and a model# would be nice but if you haven't that then how old is it? Cold showers on these chilly mornings just "ain't where it's at". Cheers, Tom
