    I have had private cello and violin students. I do play both of the instruments enough to teach beginners at them.

    Were you first chair on the violin, cello or both?

    Both,it was years ago, but my pitch is still quite good,I can hear the ex all the way from Pittsburgh even now... LOL

    Oh male bonding, don't they have Yahoo messenger for that ? Lol Still no pics huh, I just started bending wood for a bow front chest, never tried it but it was not as difficult as I thought, as for your chairs I used 1/8 maple x 4" and use poly glue and I built a jig and all my clamps which you can never have enough of by the way. Clamped them for 4 hours, now I've got 3/4 thick arches, you may be able to use something like that for you curves, good luck, lets see some pics
