Im bad in Algebra
I need all the help in Algebra. I just don't understand the questions that are given to me.:confused:

Also, talk to your teacher and ask for a tutor or mentor. I did that in high school algebra, tutored other students. If you never let your teacher know you are having problems, it is not going to get easier in the classroom, unless, by chance, you find someone on your own to tutor you. I wish you great success.

First, separate the values containing variables (3x and x) from those that don't (-7 and 5.) Then divide the numerical values by the coefficient remaining on the variable.

Wouldn't it be --
3x-7+x = 5
3x+x = 5 + 7
4x = 12
x = 3
I haven't done homework algebra in centuries, but x = 3 checks out.

I think you got this one wrong! You should have added the 7's to both sides of the equation to make them stay equal. It should be 4x=12 which would make x=3
