    Gas from muffler
I have a 10 HP Tecumseh on a Craftsmen 30" rear engine mower. The carb was recently rebuilt along with a tune up at a respectable mower shop. I used the mower once since that work-- ran great. Today it didn't start on first or second crank as normal. I looked back and there was gas on the chassis and muffler. I tried cranking one more time and watched gasoline spray from the muffler.
How bad is this? I'm fairly mechanical so can I fix it myself?
P.S. I just brought this Fla from NC where the mower shop was so no going back to them.
    Thanks!

Hmm, could be that you are not getting any spark, or that the cylinder is full of fuel. Is it making any sounds at all when turning over the engine, such as backfiring? If so, it could be the flywheel key.
