I don't believe I am bi-polar or anything like that but I the same feel as if I can't control my feelings as if there is something controlling me, I've been with my girlfreind nearly two years, and well ever since last xmas something happened it may have even been before that before we got together but recently only been taking affect and she's so close to ending it because she is getting fed up and I've tried explaining and I've said I would change but I cant!

Actually, I have a master's in counseling psych plus bipolar illness runs on my father's side of the family so I've experienced it up close and personal.

You can get help, like Glinda said, from your city or county health services. You will be charged according to your ability to pay and will be given meds to help even out your mood swings. This is extremely important and will help you keep a job, do better in school, be a normal kind of husband or go wherever else your life takes you. Meds will get rid of the paranoia that your girlfriend is cheating on you, and you will be even easier for her to love.

Please get some counseling and some help!

Although I have never been formally diagnosed, I do show signs of bipolar disorder. I just don't like the thought of becoming an addicted pill popper. I've lived with this for several years now. I just cope with it the best I can.
