    Is this homework?

A Scop was an Old English poet. His role would be to regal the stories of heroes such as Beowulf (one of my favorites), relate battle stories, recite verse, sagas, and poems, etc.

A Scop would be informative and yet provide entertainment to the inhabitants of the hall.
