Starter solenoid corrosion [ 2 Answers ]

YEP, I too am having solenoid problems. But I'm hoping that I can simply clean off the corrosion on the terminals. Is this possible, practical, and if so how do I do this? Not sure what to use on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, NH:confused:

Hi all... Just had a repairman out to fix the A/C two days ago. A/C was running but not cooling (no frosting of coils, no clogged ducts, compressor fine, etc). Repairman stated that it was a faulty "solenoid switch" and replaced it successfully. For the last day and 1/2, A/C has been running...
