    Quit claim deed and divorce
    We purcahsed a house in San Diego in 2002 and at that time I ve signed a quit claim deed to my husband .And in 2005 he sold the house with a huge amount of profit.My question is if will receive any profit from selling the house or will I be excluded from it since I ve signed acquit claim deed:o

    Since you signed a quit claim deed your name is no longer on the title of the house. That means he is sole owner and is also sole profitor from any sale. Unless you had a buyout agreement or an equity payout agreement that states you shall receive a portion of the profits if the home is ever sold, you are not entitled to any monies.

    I'm assuming in the divorce agreement he got the house which is why you signed it over to him. Therefore you wouldn't be entitled to anything. Don't know why you think you would.

    Unless, the divorce agreement specified that you were to receive something from the sale, the profit is his alone.
