    Estate Auction in Virginia
I'm about to go to an estate auction tomorrow for the first time in my life. I've checked the court records for liens and judgments and didn't find any on a property that I'm interested in. I spoke to a lawyer and he said that the toughest part might be evicting the current tenants.

What vehicle do I use to evict someone from the property (in Alexandria, VA) and how much time does it give the tenant to get out?

Go to http://realestate.findlaw.com/landlord and click on the Resources link for Virginia. It will give you that state's requirements for evicting a tenant, including times for notices. It may also give you samples of the forms you will need. Good luck!
