Hailley, what are you doing? You are in the 6th grade, right? You should know how to write a little more clearly by now, with Gods help, and a little effort at school. I did not understand what you answered to the person who slept with the 'best friend'. I think you confused even more. Try a little better next time, preview your stuff before sending it, OK?

Did you get his help in picking your signature as 'hottie was here'? I don't think he meant for you to use such signatures at your age. Please seriously think about it.

    I wish I was a flea
Often times it seems as if god does not hear us. There is a story about king david going through something like this if you happen to believe in the bible. He often felt that god had left him and forgotten he existed. God does not give us everything that we want. He is more concerned about our needs. Its also a case of god helps those who help themselves. He's got some plans for all of us. ;)

    BeMe,

Here is a thought. You have said that you need God and have God and pray all the time and that you ask for help and get it but not all the time.

What I see is that we always get what we ask for. Spiritually thinking, God knows what we need in life better then ourselves. Not everything comes our way like we want because it may not be the right time. God has always answered my prayers. There were times where it seemed what I wanted did not happen but I do know that God has always been there for me and has helped me always in no matter what situation.

Sorry for the one poor poster
I am truly sorry that there are people who prefer to attack and complain instead of really answering a question and trying to help.

In life you will find there are people like that, who like to beat their chest and show us how proud they are of thierself by attempting to make others look small. It is a good thing that most people know the secret about these people, they are normally insecure and need to attack others to make thierself feel better.

To get to your question, yes Faith and God is important to everyone. There has even been studies that show belief in a religion is good for our health and that active members in a religion normally have better over all health.

Next it gives us peace and happiness.

    Blessings

    God's Help
    Hi,
Do you pray every day? Thanking God for all your blessings?
Prayer is the most powerful force in the world.
When you pray, don't ask help for yourself, in specific things you want to happen. Have some humility, and pray for others, and guidance for them.
Ask for strenth for yourself, to do God's Will, and pray for strength for yourself for acceptance of whatever happens to you today.
Such as , "Please give me the strength today to do Thy Will, not mine, and please give me the strength today to accept what comes my way."
In some way, God will answer your prayers. It's not always the way we want it to work out, and not always as fast as we want, but it will happen. Pray for acceptance of whatever God chooses to do.

Fredg - got the spread message again. But you are right, listening deep within instead of being bombarded from outside will give you inner peace and if you listen, you'll get a clearer message directed to you for the guidance you need.

Need suggests that without God you would not exist. If God exists then you need God. If God does not exist then you do not need God.
The concept of God is different for each individual but if God exists then there is only one truth relative to God. If you pray and there is no God then who is listening? Only you? If there is a God and you pray then hopefully you are still listening. Perhaps our notion of prayer is simply clarifying our ideas of the way that we really want things to be. If reality is contrary to our wishes then we are unhappy or anxious. If reality is the result of creation by God then we are at odds with God. We are then left to plot a course for ourselves to align with reality or maintain frustration and anxiety.
Contemplation in the form of prayer is very useful to focus on our circumstances and consider more deeply our options for meaningful action.
The joy of religious belief is that we can believe whatever we want. If your beliefs improve the quality of your life and that of the world in which you exist then I would argue that your belief system is valid from a purely practical standpoint.

Without GOD I cannot accomplish anything. Above everything that I could ask the heavenly father it would be that he should help me to stay faithfull unto his word;)

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how to
classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies on
monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed "tool
using animal". After observing some animals making wooden
tools and sharpening them with knife like stones, it was
dropped. Another researcher proposed "weapon using animal".
A decade ago, a rare film was shot by an amateur in an
African forest. One short monkey was hit very badly by a big
monkey. The short monkey prepared a wooden knife using
stones and hid it on the top of a tree. After some days,
when the big monkey came to attack the short monkey, it ran
up to the tree for the weapon it has hid and killed the big
monkey. The one thing that the anthropologists found with
any group of human beings, even if they did not have
contacts with the out side world for thousands of years, is
that they have spirituality with some form of religion. So,
man is a "spiritual animal" if you want to call him that
    way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so named
because he has "Manas" a mind higher than that of the
animals which realizes the divinity in creation. It was
present since the creation of human beings. Religion is the
characteristic feature of most of the human beings. It was
not attained through reasoning using mind. Illiterate tribes
located in inaccessible forests also have religion. It is as
eternal and as unchanging as the Almighty. Disbelief by
a few will not affect it.

Religion is not a blind following. It is a sub-consciously
driven group ritual. It calms the 'collective unconscious'
mind. The religious culture brings unity and belongedness
    among the followers.

"Is a Belief in God Beneficial? Or, What's an Atheist to Do?

    1) Religious attendance is correlated with longevity.
    2) Religious belief has been associated with lower levels of
    depressive symptoms.
    3) Religious beliefs may help with addiction.
    4) Religious attendance is correlated with lower blood pressure.
