    I would start with thanking them for their patronage then explain that with the extra expenses of minimum wage rising and the cost of fuel that you must raise your prices X percent.

    Although we don't like it, most of us consumers know that the cost of things we buy goes up - that includes service work.

    Emland thanks very much. It's not the cost of minimum wage going up, it's the cost of suppliers raising cleaning products and in turn raising my overheads.
