I'm a great fan of Jeff.. no matter what he does.

I would not have been able to stay collected in this show.

When she said she had this in chemistry class, I burst out so loud that I woke my BF.

There is a show like this on german TV, brand new to their standards, but I was not tuned in.. This one certainly takes the cake.

    Thanks so much for sharing!

Hmm. Wonder what she does in the kitchen when reading a recipe book...

I would have gotten that question wrong too. I've never been taught how many feet in a yard.

    (I guessed 4, not bad? :P)

You are on the metric system Capuchin. That's why you got it wrong. Any adult here in the States should know that there are 3 feet in a yard, and she guessed 350 something? Gimme a break the woman was not just a flake, she was a full blown blizzard.

We're not on the metric system. (don't rant at me again). A news report from yesterday: BBC NEWS | UK | EU gives up on 'metric Britain'

Ohhh, a little sensitive are we? Sheesh.

I don't particularly have time to pay attention to my local news let alone news in the UK.

It's not really news, Britain has always been imperial. I just pointed to the report as evidence. :(

I noticed the kid was not that smart either, instead of feet she wrote 78 (I assumed she meant 'inches')..

    Brrrrrr, it's getting colder...

I read to kids a lot. I use encyclopedias with a lot of pictures... the pictures are for them, but the text helps me refresh my knowledge. My favorites are the old 1976 Bicentennial editions.. lots of pictures there. Content has nothing new to me, but all new to them -we all come out winning something.

Either that or I've got a twin out there...

    Which would be super..

    Or, a clone..

Which would be OK too as long as education level is beyond 5th grade..
