    Integrity management
    Hi,

I am considering a career in pipeline integrity management. Does anyone have a hint of how the future in this field is?

I currently work in this field and the industry is starved for experienced people that are capable of doing this work. Anybody that has a background in pipeline operation, mapping, GIS and is familiar with working with federal regulation are the most sought after on the engineering side.

Considering it is driven by a federal law the chances of it going away are close to zero.
