    Ajikanx,
From what little I know I think bananas are considered to be very good for health.

Here's some info I found for you on the net.
    ------------------------
    http://www.banana.com/nutrition.html
Because of their impressive potassium content, bananas are highly recommended by doctors for patients whose potassium is low. One large banana, about 9 inches in length, packs 602 mg of potassium and only carries 140 calories. That same large banana even has 2 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. No wonder the banana was considered an important food to boost the health of malnourished children! Those reducing sodium in their diets can't go wrong with a banana with its mere 2 mgs of sodium. For the carbohydrate counters there are 36 grams of carbs in a large banana.

Vitamins and minerals are abundant in the banana, offering 123 I.U. of vitamin A for the large size. A full range of B vitamins are present with .07 mg of Thiamine, 15 mg of Riboflavin, 82 mg Niacin, 88 mg vitamin B6, and 29 mcg of Folic Acid. There are even 13.8 mg of vitamin C. On the mineral scale Calcium counts in at 9.2 mg, Magnesium 44.1 mg, with trace amounts of iron and zinc.

Putting all of the nutritional figures together clearly shows the banana is among the healthiest of fruits. The plantain, when cooked, rates slightly higher on the nutritional scale in vitamins and minerals but similar to the banana in protein and fiber content. For the large size. A full range of B vitamins are present with .07 mg of Thiamine, 15 mg of Riboflavin, 82 mg Niacin, 88 mg vitamin B6, and 29 mcg of Folic Acid. There are even 13.8 mg of vitamin C. There are so many great benefits of bananas, just as you read above, they are a good source of vitamin A-B-C, high in Potassium and fiber. This is a great help in losing weight, Bananas are low in calories, and fat. High in water and Potassium. A diet high in Potassium foods and low in Sodium foods, can help you reduce water weight, rather quickly.

I've heard that bananas are one of the best fruits you can eat.

I would imagine if you ate nothing but bananas you would have a problem, but who is going to do that?

Dried banana chips are great and travel better in lunch boxes, I have found.

If you have a headache, eat a banana and lie down with banana peels across your forehead. (There's something in the peels that knocks out headaches.) Just don't go to the mall with the peels still on your forehead (although I've heard some people wrap a bandana over the peels to keep them in place while they shop, etc.).

    From web sites:

"Despite its creamy texture a banana contains no fat. In fact an average banana contains only 110 calories. And because it is so filling, a banana is the ideal choice for a mid-afternoon energy-boost."

"Some individual fruits or vegetables (such as bananas, broccoli or cabbage) may cause gas, but if they don't bother you, eat as many as you can (at least five servings per day)."
