Am I eligible to file Bankruptcy?
I am in credit card debt for approximately $10,000 and all are in judgement status.
1) Am I eligible to file Bankruptcy? 2) Is there a minimum amount of debt owed to qualify for bankruptcy? 3) Can someone direct me to a web site to get info on the new Bankruptcy laws that have been passed? Thank you in advance! |

What form do you wish to file ( assuming personal not business) chapter 7 or chapter 13.
What is your income, what is your net worth If you owe 10,000 and make 50,000 a year most likely you can work out payment plans. One of the things you have to do is attempt to use a court approved debt service. You best bet is to talk to a bankruptcy attorney locally ( most allow the first visit free) |
