Anything by Christopher Moore is just plain fun. I started with Coyote Blue but my favorite is Lamb, the story of Jesus' lost years as told by his BFF Biff. They all have a love story but reality is askew. He is getting more mainstream. I found his book Island of the Sequined Love Nun at the Key West Library but then again we are all a little askew down here! Hope you enjoy.

Well, I don't know about love stories but I recommend Brian Jacques Redwall series, I have the whole series and I think they're really good, but that's just mae. You could also try Castaways of the flying dutchman, the angels command and voyage of slaves, also by brian jacques.

The Mitford Series by Jan Karon. Romantic, funny, inspiring--the adventures of an Episcopal priest in a tiny North Carolina town.

You should read the book "The Alchemist" its not that long, but it is a very good book. Takes about two days to read it, you could probably read the whole thing in a day if you were that committed to it, but you can do as you please :D the book is worth it!

I recommend The Iron King Series. There are about 7 but if you read the first 4 you should be all set on the whole series.:p

There are so many trilogies by Nora Roberts which is really good. Or you could try Nora Robert's pen name, J.D. Robb, and her In Death series, which is good as well.
You could try Dragon's Bait, by Vivian Vande Velde, quite a short book but entertaining nonetheless.
You could try The Host by Stephanie Meyer (yes, I know, the author of the Twilight series. Don't hate me for it- I am a book fan, not a movie fan).
If you want to read something a bit darker, then you could read Tithe by Holly Black or even Artemis Fowl series (the first book especially).
Yeah, I can think of some more, but this much is good, I think.
