    Questions about Mirena
I just got my Mirena inserted on Tuesday. Things have been pretty uneventful so far, but earlier today I passed a piece of tissue. It wasn't blood tinged or anything, it was flesh (light brown) color. Is this normal?

I am not a doctor - but remember, they had to open your cervix to put the IUD in your uterus. I would think that it is normal - if you are worried, call your doctor and ask. I bet they have a question line where you can ask a nurse a question. Good luck.
