    Inheritance distribution?
I really was not sure where this really went, so I figured I'd ask here. In the past year my Grandmother passed away and since my father was already deceased, I was entitled to 1/4 of her estate. The papers have been drawn up and signed and I've been notified of the amount of money all the beneficiaries will be receiving. The court hearing is set for Sep 19 and once everything is cleared, there will be arrangements for distribution. Does anyone know how long this can take?

I live in the state of California.

Everything has been drawn up, all claims against the estate have been paid. All that is left is for the court to say yes or no to okay distribution. The hearing is Sep. 19... does the court say yes or no then? Or will it still take 6 months?
