Will I ever get over it?
My dad died when I was 2. I have no memories of him what so ever. But sometimes when I think about it I get really sad and I don't know why. It's not like I miss him Because I can't even remember him but why else would I feel this way? I've never had a father figure in my life. Is it normal to feel like this? And why do I get so sad about it?

It is all right to feel sad about not knowing your Dad,
Mine passed away when I was 7 or so, but I have memories of him, he was 75 at the time he died, at that time it made me sad.
I fortunately grew up in a loving home with a whole family and I think this helped me a lot in not being sad about my dad.

Now when I think about it I wonder how he would feel seeing me all grown up,
If he had been alive he would be very old (I am 26 now).

I think more than the death of your father it is as you say the lack of a father figure getting you down. And I do think it is normal to feel sad, unless it is affecting your daily life, then you need professional help.
