    External Hard drive SHOWS WHERE?
External hard drive plug-in through usb port - shows in Device Manager as working fine
But where is it? Must a drive letter be assigned?
Running Vista Home (or is Vista running me?)

Thanks for your interest in answering my question ---

Alas - Despite not having things where you "think they are" in Vista -
I do not see this Hard drive in Explorer.
It does however show up nicely in Device Manager - if that helps
