Garter snakes and when they come out
I was just wondering around what time of day do snakes come out I live in newyork thanks

They can come out anytime of day. When I mow my huge lawn which is next to the woods, I come across them at whatever time of day I mow. I live in Illinois, but I would think the state you live is does not matter.

Snakes do not have a set time of day to be active. Snakes are cold blooded though. Therefore with your living in ny I would suspect that you will see them "sunning" during the warmer times of the day.
