I know my list is long, I just mentioned these in order to find anyone who may share my liking for any book!! :)
The list is just a collection of many memories (with different authors) made as I grew up.
Each book is connected to a memory or memories and each book in a way defines where I was at that moment of time.

I loved the Left Behind series. Those, I couldn't wait for the paperback!

Kane and Abel ,Prodigal Daughter

Hmm, some Jeffrey Archer. Don't hear too many people mention his books, but he's one of my favorite authors. My favorite of his is still Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less. (And the title works well for an anal accounting person. ;) )

It's really difficult for me to pick favorite books. I love to read. I read mostly fiction, but some non-fiction. Though for the sake of enjoyment I prefer the fiction.

I like mysteries a lot and read both Ngaio Marsh and Agatha Christie. But I like any type of mystery, detective, spy, etc. type of stuff. I love Ed McBain. One of my favorite Christie's was Murder of Roger Ackroyd, probably cause it was nearly impossible to solve. (She's sneaky.)

I also like fantasy a lot. Can't beat The Hobbit. (Sorry to say I haven't read LofR. Just have never gotten around to it. After the movies came out I swore I was going to read those and still have not had time.) And I like Raymond Feist, probably my favorite of which is still the original, The Magician. Along with that, I like science fiction. But I more like fantasy-like, creative stuff, rather than just a lot of spaceships zooming around. I particularly like Philip Jose Farmer, and both his Riverworld Series and Dayworld series are excellent. (Assuming you like that sort of thing.) Any game player such as myself must like fantasy stuff. :p

I also admit to liking Danielle Steel, even though romance stuff isn't my favorite. Maybe cause I don't consider it romance. (With all the tragedies her books are full of, I'm not sure how to call them romance.) My favorite is The Promise.

Irwin Shaw's Young Lions is a great book. As is Code Name Nimrod by James Leasor. (Non-fiction.) Both about WWII. Young Lions about 3 different soldiers -- it's interesting. It jumps around who's the main character, 2 Americans (one Jewish), and 1 German, and his parts are from his point of view as a German. Code Name Nimrod is about a guy involved in convincing Hitler we were attacking Calais rather than Normandy. After the first couple of fact-filled chapters, it reads like a thriller novel and is great. Both excellent reads for anyone interested in that type of thing. Oh, another good one along those lines -- The Lions of Judah by Ted Willis.

And something I read recently, The Last Day by Glenn Kleiner. I also love Joy Fielding and could not possibly pick a favorite as they're all great and suspenseful and real page turners. And James Kirkwood, favorites probably being P.S. Your Cat is Dead, and um... I think Good Times/Bad Times is the right one. I also love Clive Cussler, my favorite being Night Probe. Excellent.

I could go on. I just like to read. I'll read darn near any type of book -- there's just a very few authors I don't particularly like, but otherwise I'm not real picky.
